About Josie
The long version.
How I went from completely disconnected from my body to making it my life’s work to help women come home to theirs.
Ididn’t always feel connected to my body. Or my womb. For years I lived disconnected — numbing, performing, overriding my intuition.
I was born in Cape Town. I moved to Berlin in July 2025. The in-between is what I want to tell you about — because none of this work was theoretical. It was the only way through.
The first cracks came in 2016 and 2017 — travel, creativity, expanded states of consciousness. I was opened to my own sensuality, to spirituality, to a depth in life I had no language for. The seeds were planted then. I didn’t know what they were yet.
Then in 2019 my body forced the conversation.

After seven years on hormonal birth control, I was diagnosed with a dermoid cyst on my ovary. Surgery was July 2019. What followed was the dark night of the soul I had been postponing for most of my adult life — being made to face how disconnected I’d been from my body, my womb, and my truth.
It cracked me open. From 2019 into 2020 I disappeared into the work — trauma release, energy practice, embodiment, breath. I followed every thread that pulled. In March 2020 I began Red Tent Facilitator Training, where I met the lineage of feminine practice through Taoist and Tantric teachings. That was the turning point.
By the end of 2020, Sync-In Flow was born — a body of work to help women reconnect with their menstrual cycle, sexual energy, and intuitive body wisdom. What started as my survival became a practice that now serves women across the world.

My womb crisis became my awakening. What I once saw as brokenness became the doorway back home to myself.
In 2022 I removed the copper IUD and committed fully to fertility awareness — choosing to live inside my own cycle rather than suppress it. That same year I started the podcast. In 2023 I sat my first Vipassana, moved through a life-changing breakup, and spent six months in Berlin learning what a different version of my life could feel like.
In 2025 I joined the collective 8th Day of Creation as their crew witch and stepped fully into oracular and priestess leadership. In July 2025 I officially moved to Berlin, where I live now and work as a professional witch and spiritual guide.
Across the years I’ve trained in somatic embodiment, breathwork, Red Tent facilitation, fertility awareness, Tantric and Taoist practice, and functional approaches to menstrual health. More than any certification, what I bring to this work is the lived experience — having walked this descent in my own body, and come back able to speak from inside it.
This isn’t just my story. It’s an invitation into yours.
Today I work with women to untangle the confusion, address what’s actually addressable, and develop a relationship with their body’s intelligence that goes far beyond symptom management. For many of my clients, that journey eventually opens into something much deeper — a connection to their sexuality, their creative power, their capacity for leadership from a place of embodied truth rather than performance.
But it all starts with the basics: understanding your cycle, learning to read your body, and finally having someone who takes your experience seriously.
That’s what I’m here for.

My story, in my own voice.
If you’d rather hear it than read it — here’s the whole thing.
Training & background: Certified in somatic embodiment practices, breathwork facilitation, and feminine movement arts. Trained in cyclical awareness methodologies and functional approaches to hormonal health. Ongoing student of the body’s intelligence. Based in Berlin, working with clients worldwide via Zoom.
Your body is intelligent.
Every symptom is information. Every fluctuation has a logic. The question isn’t “what’s wrong with me” — it’s “what is my body telling me.”
Healing isn’t linear.
Some things need practical intervention. Some things need space. Some things need witness. I hold all three.
Depth is not a luxury.
Understanding your cycle isn’t wellness-extra. It’s foundational to your health, your relationships, your work, and your sense of self.
Ready to walk together?
Whether you’re in the thick of a health challenge or ready to go deeper, it starts with a conversation.
