In person.
Where women actually gather.
The internet can teach you a lot. It cannot hold a circle. These are the embodied containers — sacred, structured, real — where the work lands in the room, in the bodies, in the shared field.

Red Tent Women's Circles
Red tent is an ancient practice — women gathering on bleed, on new moon, on threshold. Slowed pace, candles, story, ritual. A place to put down the weight of being needed and remember what it is to simply be witnessed.
These circles are not therapy and they are not a workshop. They are a space the modern world doesn't make for women anymore — held by a woman who has trained in this lineage and tested it in her own body for years.
What happens in a red tent
- Opening — landing the body, lighting the altar, naming what you brought in with you
- Sharing in council — held by structure, not by advice; nobody is fixed, everybody is heard
- Embodiment — breath, movement, sound; whatever the bodies in the room actually need
- Closing — integration, blessing, returning to the world a little more in your own skin
Workshops
Half-day and full-day teaching containers on a specific axis: cycle literacy, womb healing, sexual sovereignty, nervous system, embodiment, voice. A blend of teaching, practice, and group field.
These are open to women new to this work and women who've been at it for years. The container meets you where you are and asks something real of you.
Past & upcoming themes
- Cycle Literacy — reading the four phases as a living language
- Womb Activation — somatic, breath-led, embodied
- Pleasure as Medicine — reclaiming the part of being a woman the culture taught you to silence
- Nervous System for Women — why the standard regulation tools weren't built for cycling bodies
Healing Activations
Ceremony-grade, intimate, ritual-based gatherings for women ready to meet what's been waiting underneath. Not for the casually curious. For the woman who knows she's at a threshold and is willing to walk through it in a held container.
Activations are offered seasonally and at specific astrological gates. Numbers are kept small. Application required.
When this is right
- You're stepping out of an old chapter — relationship, identity, role — and need a real marker
- You've done the personal work and want a container that meets your depth
- You feel a pull toward initiation but don't know where to find one that's actually held
- You trust ritual as a real technology, not as decoration
The lineage
What is a red tent, actually?
An ancient practice of women gathering on the bleed, on the new moon, on the threshold — translated for a life that still has jobs and inboxes in it. Read the full lineage, and the training behind how I hold one.

“Josie's Red Tent Circles are truly a breath of fresh air. There is a feeling of safety and welcoming when gathering with other sisters that, in this world, is often hard to find. Josie's powerful presence as both a guide and friend holds the circle together in unity.”
